The play area refers to a zone that extends 6 feet beyond the swing set on all sides. This includes the space above the swing and the slide. The ground must be level; the set should not be installed on a sloping ground, which can cause it to crack or lean. September 30th kicks off the 10th annual Bike Fest in Vegas . The city is bracing itself for more than 30,000 bikes to gather for competitions, concerts, a custom bike show, the Miss Las Vegas Bike Fest Competition and a huge Vendor Village. It’s a chance for bikers to relax, have fun, and check out the latest and hottest new bikes and accessories. The Fest will take place at various locations including some of the iconic hotels Las Vegas is famous for.
One of the main attractions is the Vendor Village. This year the Village will be home to 250 booths offering motorcycles, parts, and accessories. There will also be unique bike exhibitions and lots of biker apparel available for purchase. As part of the 10th Anniversary, there will be three separate Grand Prize Giveaway motorcycles, including a 2010 Triumph Speedster , a 2011 Harley-Davidson (winner’s choice of three models), and a 2010 Harley-Davidson Custom Fatboy. There will also be a special drawing for a custom Coffin Couch.
Popular events include bikini contests, wet t-shirt contests, cruising the Strip, and plenty of concerts and parties. Whether bikers are there for the poker runs, the competitions, the beer bashes, or the rock and roll, the main draw remains the chance to be with other motorcycle fans and celebrate their rides.

There are many ways to make a garden become a refuge. Built in to the very notion of a garden is the idea that it’s become a space reserved for communing with a small version of nature. Water is at the source of all things that grow, and fountains are a way of bringing this to the center.
For all of the soothing potentials of water, and the way it can affect each of the senses, the one that’s perhaps the most important is sound. In terms of the garden fountain, the subtle affects of the sound of running water have a way of taking the mind toward a relaxing place where the source of life is like a lullaby to busy thoughts.
Water does affect the other senses in profound ways. Even untreated water has a very specific smell, evoking the same memories that take the body back to the original ocean. The visual aspects are also quite pleasing, reflecting light, and capturing color as if it were a perfect twin to its surroundings. It is always soothing to the touch, and holds a fascinating for small children that never really goes away. The taste is simple, but one of nourishment, reminding the body that it is composed of water. Sound brings all of these together as a reminder of where one is in the world.

It is a difficult thing to get into the world of contemporary computer technologies. Like any new system that holds the potential for being inclusive and radically independent, the first stages of its growth is often accompanied by what many new users perceive to be difficult language. It’s a complication that arises in anything new and possibly transformational. It’s also something of a criticism that’s often leveled at philosophers and academics as they begin developing new theories of how things are, or how things seem to be.
It’s not a new development, although it certainly seems to be. New concepts, new structures, and new ways of thinking do require a new language. In the early 1960s, when post-structural philosophy was making waves in Europe, the intellectuals were vastly excited, and the students were either taken in by the wave, or else left terribly confused. In that particular context, the thinkers of the time were responding to the notion that language had suddenly become a tool not of revelation or communication, but of intentional obfuscation .
That’s not the case today, although a first look at computer language might suggest otherwise. With a bit of time, however, it becomes easier to understand, and is actually as user-friendly as the programs have become. The metaphors are embedded in the names, so that cloudshare refers to the interconnected networks in a company, but also create a visual picture of clouds in the sky, separate but moving along the same air flows. These metaphors are the very key to understanding the systems.
