September 30th kicks off the 10th annual Bike Fest in Vegas . The city is bracing itself for more than 30,000 bikes to gather for competitions, concerts, a custom bike show, the Miss Las Vegas Bike Fest Competition and a huge Vendor Village. It’s a chance for bikers to relax, have fun, and check out the latest and hottest new bikes and accessories. The Fest will take place at various locations including some of the iconic hotels Las Vegas is famous for.
One of the main attractions is the Vendor Village. This year the Village will be home to 250 booths offering motorcycles, parts, and accessories. There will also be unique bike exhibitions and lots of biker apparel available for purchase. As part of the 10th Anniversary, there will be three separate Grand Prize Giveaway motorcycles, including a 2010 Triumph Speedster , a 2011 Harley-Davidson (winner’s choice of three models), and a 2010 Harley-Davidson Custom Fatboy. There will also be a special drawing for a custom Coffin Couch.
Popular events include bikini contests, wet t-shirt contests, cruising the Strip, and plenty of concerts and parties. Whether bikers are there for the poker runs, the competitions, the beer bashes, or the rock and roll, the main draw remains the chance to be with other motorcycle fans and celebrate their rides.

The ins and outs of all the legal ramifications of a wrongful death suit are entirely complex, and can make other complicated areas of law look like basic math. Part of the reason for the complexity may have to do with the emotional nature of the cases, although it’s certainly true that it comes from complexities in liability law. The basic idea for a wrongful death suit comes from its origins with Lord Campbell’s Act in 1846. This case comes from the results of a railway accident where more than a dozen people lost their lives.
In the final tally, the railway was responsible but liable, meaning they had to pay damages to the family of the plaintiff. The act is also knows at the Fatal Accidents Act , and has become something that has ridden an eclectic and fascinating history over the past century and a half. It’s perhaps easy to see why, as the intricacies do tend to almost double back on themselves, and it would be a difficult thing to negotiate without Fort Lauderdale wrongful death attorneys to maneuver through the legal proceedings. This also is a good way to keep the emotions out of the courtroom, so that justice can truly be served.

Shuffleboard is a great game to play and makes for a beautiful accent to any home. A majority of shuffleboard tables are made out of wood and are very similar in design, plus they come in a variety of sizes and come with a wide array of accessories that will add to the players’ enjoyment. Even when the shuffleboards are not in use, they make for an attractive piece of furniture and not only become a conversation piece, but a great way to entertain guests.
Many home shuffleboard tables run between 9 to 14 feet long and 2 to 3 feet wide. If the homeowner is a serious shuffleboard player, it’s recommended to get the tournament size shuffleboard, which is 22 feet long. However, homeowners need to have the proper space to accommodate such a long board comfortably; there needs to be 2 to 3 feet of playing space on both sides.
There are plenty of accessories that will add to the enjoyment of the shuffleboard playing experience. Most accessories involve keeping the table clean and smooth such as shuffleboard wax. Shuffleboard wax is also known as ‘ice’, and it comes in 3 varieties: white ice is for a more challenging, fast game; brown ice is for a less challenging game and yellow ice is for beginners. Then there are the pucks sizes: 1/3 pucks or 2/16 pucks are a great choice for home. It’s wise to purchase a second set of pucks in case some get lost or ruined.
